Got to page 27 of 67 in editing chapters 24-40. Re-entering the changes now.

10:15pm – 19,461
11:10pm – 19,380 and done
That means in total, Butch Girls is now at 59,481 in rewrite but far from finished. The original ended at 78,914. I expect the rewrite/edit version to end at about the same count, most likely higher.
I’ve got some research to do now.

The good part is that when you’re done, you’re done.
The bad part after doing so much editing, I’ve learned, is that it’s hard to start writing again.

My goal count is about 80K, which is where Bella Books want it. Another goal is to have the damn thing finished by the end of July and send out the query.
Now that you have written, edited, and started submiting an honest to gosh novel, do you think you will consider that outline thing?
