Back to Writing…

I have managed to get some writing done the last few days. As Katrina passed nearby, the barometer pressure dropped really low here (according to a ‘weather station‘ in Weaverville), which meant I was in a lot of pain. Which also meant I was not up to writing.

However, I did get some done yesterday and today. A grand total of 3902, actually. Most of that was today. I think I am over the not-so-proverbial hump with BG2b. It will need a crap load of editing but that’s nothing new. I don’t think it will need to be rewritten but it will need more than just a spit polish.

I decided to go with an odd twist. My two characters, Nikki and Ellen, will be continually disrupted every time they try to have sex. The first one has already happened. They were engaging in their first kiss, reclining on the couch, when the dog (a big rottweiler) came in and kissed them too.

My very first kiss was with a boy I had almost grown up with. I was a late teen, he was about two or three years later. He had to take me home for some reason and we pulled over near the top of one of the mountains. We were kissing when the dogs in the backseat started snoring. What a bucket of cold water that was!

Anyway, I have a few other ways I will keep having them get interrupted. I don’t know if they will work out but I’m gonna try.

At any rate, that’s where my writing is at the moment. Let’s still keep those along the Gulf coast in our prayers.
