Spent the day with my darlin’. Then we went to the Laughing Seed restaurant, to Jack of the Woods pub then to Old Europe coffee house. We went with Gary and Lori, our two best friends. Asking them was a good thing cause Gary beat me in arm wrestling so he paid for the tab at the eatery.
I didn’t get anything written today. Actually haven’t gotten anything written for several days now. I’ve been busy organizing the story for editing. It is actually going very well this way. I like seeing it laid out, the progression from scene to scene, who’s got the most point-of-view (POV). Kelly, the fix-it woman, seems to be carrying the most weight in this novel. Grace, the other main character, has a lot of scenes, but most of them are about Kelly! I have already found some places that need to be dropped (what’s this got to do with anything???) and places where things need to be added (you mention this but then…what happened??) . I really feel that when this is done, I will be able to write it all out. I think the characters are going to like it too.
